Helle Rasmussen

 

I'm a local self taught artist and educator, originally from Denmark, but have lived in Thousand Oaks California since 1998. I teach art to students of all ages, private lessons, and in elementary schools, private schools, home school programs, magnet and charter schools.​
I like to expose my students to a variety of different materials and media, and introduce them to artwork of artists from all around the world. I enjoy teaching art because it helps students discover and nurture their imaginations while developing critical thinking and problem solving skills and having fun - also it makes me happy.
